The mobile industry in Africa.

Africa have been enjoying a good rise in the numbers of mobile subscribers, projected to reach a total of 378million subscribers by the year 2011 which will represent 20% of growth thus making it the fastest in the world.

it is also noted that with value added services such as the GPRS and EDGE technology that’s was introduced with 3G licenses will add to the increase of subscribers, business has grown very well in Africa ,the industry also provided jobs for the people but still yet the industry is still faced with different problems ranging from Government policies ,license, lack of basic amenities like electricity ,bad roads and also to vandalization.

With all this problems mention above , the industry still goes all the way to provide the subscribes with quality service , value added services using the best equipments in the world.

The research shows that Africa has three fixed lines per 100 people which will increase as subscribers goes up, looks like the Mobile Industry has found a place called home.
